Our vision is to play a leading role in supporting Black Economic Empowerment and Transformation in South Africa within the parameters created by the BBBEE Act and the Codes of Good Practice supporting the Act. Our primary focus is to verify and rate the BEE status of companies.
BEE Rating Solutions is a Level 1 contributor (100 points) to BEE with procurement recognition of 135% according to the latest published BEE Codes of Good Practice, with Black Ownership of 20% that includes 10% Black Female Ownership.
We are a nationally based verification agency with offices or representation in Gauteng, Vaal Triangle, Mpumalanga, North West Province, Kwazulu Natal, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Free State, and Limpopo. We have been in operation since November 2005 and have completed more than 2000 ratings from small companies to JSE listed entities.
In accordance with the government’s broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) strategy and balanced scorecard approach, BEE Rating Solutions has developed a BEE offering focused on education, verification, and rating. The balanced scorecard (BSC) facilitates the process of setting measurable targets for BEE, BEE verifications and other measurement purposes. Our verification procedures are based on the DTI’s guide for verification agencies (to be gazetted in the near future). BEE Rating Solutions is a full member of ABVA (Association of BEE Verification Agencies, membership no. AM00014).
