Training Portal is proud to celebrate the fourth anniversary of its Vereeniging Campus, marking four years of creating opportunities through education, skills development, and meaningful community engagement.

Since opening its doors in 2022, the campus has grown into more than a place of learning. It has become a space where individuals discover their potential, build confidence, and prepare for meaningful careers. Today, it stands as a testament to what can be achieved when quality education is accessible and communities are empowered.

Every learner who walks through the campus doors arrives with their own ambitions, challenges, and aspirations. The Vereeniging Campus exists to help turn those aspirations into opportunities by providing nationally recognised training and the support needed to take the next step forward.

Four Years of Measurable Impact

Over the past four years, that commitment has translated into meaningful results. The campus has facilitated the successful completion of 453 learnerships, equipping hundreds of learners with nationally recognised qualifications and practical workplace experience.

Many learners have gone on to pursue employment opportunities, continue their studies, or build careers with the knowledge and experience gained during their time at Training Portal.

More than R1.5 million has also been paid out in learner stipends, providing valuable financial support that enables learners to focus on their studies while preparing for the world of work.

The campus offers a range of accredited learnership programmes designed to respond to the needs of both learners and industry. These include Business Practice, Business Administration, End User Computing, Marketing, Project Management, Customer Management, and Contact Centre Services.

Each programme is designed to equip learners with practical skills that improve employability and prepare them for long-term career success.

In January 2026, Training Portal expanded its community impact through the launch of the Vereeniging Justice Booth, in partnership with PH Attorneys. The initiative was established to provide free legal advice and support to members of the Vereeniging community, helping make access to justice more accessible for those who need it most.

Since its launch, the Justice Booth has hosted Justice Week, helping community members better understand their legal rights while connecting them with trusted legal guidance and support.

This initiative is an extension of Training Portal's commitment to community empowerment, recognising that creating opportunities goes beyond education and includes improving access to essential support and services.
